Robert and David went above and beyond, in what was a very difficult time for us. They stepped in and gave us subtle suggestions and advice when they could see we were faltering, and made what was a very difficult procedure that little bit easier. We immediately decided that we didn’t need to visit other directors after meeting Robert. We would highly recommend them.

We used Robert for my darling Mum in 2020 and also my darling husband in January 2022. Robert is a very kind and compassionate person . My dear husband was looked after so well as soon as he was in Roberts care . Funeral arrangements, were too , arranged very well and both Robert and the Celebrant kept regular contact right up to the service ,, ensuring our wishes were met . From start to finish robert was understanding of our circumstances a d showed empathy and sympathy and communicated every thing to me so I knew exactly what was happening with the funeral for my brother. It was a bit more complex than most as robert drove my brother from kent to liverpool so we could bury our brother here in liverpool and reunited with his mum and dad in the same grave. I only have the upmost respect for the way the whole funeral was oganised and would recommend robert kent funerals to anyone. Its a very sad time for any family but robert made it more simple and easier to manage with his great communication skills and kind nature. From the very first phone call and email with Robert I knew he was the funeral director I would be choosing to take care of my dad on his final journey. My experience has been a different one, I live in America and my father lived in England. Robert and I communicated every few days. Regardless of the time difference Robert always responded to me. He was empathetic, caring, compassionate, went well above and beyond to my requests and needs, patient, kind, and respectful. My father was referred to as “dad” and I truly felt as though we were part of Robert’s family. Robert eased my fears of this unknown process and made this heartbreaking situation as comfortable as he could knowing I was across the world. I felt like I was able to be part of my dads service. I highly recommend Robert, he is a hidden gem and a true angel sent from Heaven! Thank you Robert for taking such great care of my daddy, I look forward to meeting you when I fly over to England to pick up my dads ashes to bring him home.

From the start, Robert was thorough, helpful and as kind as anyone could have been during such a sad time. He was always in contact even if it was a minor detail, but still kept us in the loop. We were happy about the whole service before the cremation ceremony with the officiant as well as Mr Robert Kent. The officiant which was recommended by Mr Kent was spot on, with what we wished. The Ceremony went as well as could be and the after small requests were a bit delayed but we got there.The price was also reasonable. So Thank you for all the attentive help and service.

Robert organised my mother’s direct cremation (no service) which I chose as she died near me but far from other family and friends. He made it a very smooth and stress-free process and I would wholeheartedly recommend him and this service. Unlike some other direct cremation providers, he used a local named crematorium and will hold the ashes and return them to me at a convenient time at no additional cost. I am now looking forward to celebrating my mother’s life when I have her ashes interred with my father’s in her home town in a few weeks time.
