Hawkinge Crematorium is situated on the site of an old airfield used by Spitfire and Hurricane pilots during the Battle of Britain, and two of the gardens of remembrance are named after these planes.
The chapel can accommodate larger funerals and we can provide an organist and a music system. As part of our commitment to caring for local families we offer a service time of 45 minutes, which is longer than many other crematoria. The crematorium also has access for the disabled, disabled toilets and a hearing loop. We can help you arrange the service according to your cultural and religious needs.
Our peaceful gardens of remembrance offer a variety of personalised memorials for you to choose from, including roses and private gardens. Our memorial staff can show you around the gardens at any time and help you to make your choice of memorial. Our gardens are open 365 days a year.
